Is Earth like a mother to you?

We hear the term “Mother Earth” all the time. But if you think about it, it’s so true. The Earth gives us life. We are born of organic matter and go back to the Earth when we die. Little particles of our ancestors may be parts of us for all we know. It’s amazing if you think about the continuous cycle of life. Someday, I will be fertalizer for a tree, and that is a very peaceful thought for me.

Plus, the Earth nourishes us. We eat it’s plants, we commune with it’s other animals, we use it’s herbs for medicine. It gives us everything we need to live a fulfilling life.

We tend to forget this since so many of us buy our food packaged in plastic in a market. We don’t eat many pure foods anymore. But back in the day, people certainly did. Right from the ground or off a tree.

I think the relationship I have with the Earth is extremely spiritual, and pure. I am so happy to be a part of it as we all are.

Does anyone else have this child/mother relationship with our Earth?
Leouroth, it’s not distruction. Our lives are just part of the cycle. The Universe will run the way it runs, it’s nothing personal against us, or for us.
